Session 1

We’ll begin with a look at Analog Workflow vs Digital Workflow. Then we’ll look at client expectation and common misconceptions. Then we’ll look at what color management can and cannot do. We will examine Color Spaces - what they are and what they tell us. We’ll look at a color managed workflow and examine profiles, what they are and where they come from.

Session 2

We will start with - "As a photographer what do I need to know about color management." We will look at the steps to implement color management. Then we’ll look at how to calibrate and profile monitors. We’ll also look at profiling scanners and digital cameras. Then it’s on to printers. Can we get accurate color on our prints and how do we do it? What about working with a lab? We’ll let you in on the secret. We will wrap up with how you can implement color management, what will it cost and how to educate your clients.
