Introduction to Color Management - Webinar Sessions

Session 1

We will begin with what color management can and cannot do. We’ll look at why it didn’t work before and why it works today. We’ll examine a color managed work flow and explore the mystery of Color Spaces. We’ll see why the transformation from one form of media to another is so difficult. Choosing the right working color space to use in Photoshop can be difficult. We’ll see what the choices are and how to choose the right one for you. Sign up for session one.

Session 2

What is a profile? We’ll look at what profiles are, where they come from how many different kinds there are and how they are used. Next we’ll examine the difficult subject of rendering intents and how they affect the transformation of our images. Then we will learn about embedding profiles and converting images. What do I need to know about Color Management? How do I learn? Where can I get help? We’ll conclude with these important questions and the answers for them.
